In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the third "Belt and Road" international cooperation summit forum, deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Ukraine in the new era, give full play to the role of Tianjin's "going out" cooperation platform, and promote the cooperation between Tianjin and Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on June 19th, the China (Tianjin)-Uzbekistan (Tashkent) Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation and Exchange Conference was successfully held, hosted by Tashkent Municipal Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Tianjin Commission of Commerce and Tianjin Branch of China Export Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure), co-organized by Uzbekistan Hyper Partners Group and Tianjin Branch of the 11th Design and Research Institute of Information Industry Electronics. Chen Shizhong, deputy secretary-general of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and first-class inspector, Zhao Jianling, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and Li Jian, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, attended the meeting, and Umurzakov Shafqat Branovic, mayor of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, delivered a video speech. Acting deputy mayor/head of investment, industry and trade department of Tashkent, and representatives of government delegations, governments and commercial authorities in all districts of our city, Hyper Partners Group of Uzbekistan and more than 60 enterprises representatives in our city.

Mayor of Tashkent, said in a video message that the bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China have a long and successful history. The cooperation between Tashkent and China has been fruitful and win-win. I believe this forum will inject new impetus into the bilateral relations between Tashkent and Tianjin, open up new horizons for cooperation projects and initiatives, further boost the good-neighborly friendship and all-round cooperation between the two countries and promote their prosperity and development.

Li Xiuping, general manager of Tianjin Branch of China Export Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure), said in his speech that the strengthening of friendly cooperation between Tianjin and Tashkent has a good foundation and a very broad space, which is in line with the general trend of comprehensive strategic partnership cooperation between China and Ukraine in the new era. China Sinosure Tianjin Branch will strengthen policy-oriented financial guarantee, actively support Sino-Ukrainian economic and trade cooperation projects, provide "one-stop" service solutions based on the resources of the "going out" platform, cooperate with government departments to jointly promote the conclusion of Tianjin-Tashkent Friendship City, and support and guarantee enterprises of the two places to deepen cooperation in various fields.

Li Jian, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said that under the good background of the continuous development of Sino-Ukrainian relations, Tianjin and Uzbekistan have carried out fruitful cooperation and achieved positive results. In the "One Belt, One Road" cooperation, both Tashkent and Tianjin play an important role as commercial hubs, with many points of convergence in economic and trade cooperation and broad prospects for cooperation. It is hoped that the two cities will further strengthen economic and trade exchanges, deepen pragmatic cooperation, fully implement the Joint Statement of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Republic of Uzbekistan on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the New Era, and jointly write a beautiful chapter of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative.

Liang Yiming, member of the Standing Committee of Binhai New Area District Committee and deputy head of the district, said that Binhai New Area is actively promoting high-level opening-up, intensifying overall planning in terms of resources, policies and projects, promoting deepening reform and opening-up, playing a leading role in demonstration, and making greater efforts to attract and utilize foreign capital. It is hoped that through this exchange meeting, the mutual understanding between enterprises of the two places will be further deepened, the potential of cooperation will be explored, more cooperation projects will be promoted, and the economic and trade exchanges between Binhai New Area and Tashkent will be deepened continuously.
