Malaysia has imposed anti-dumping duties on galvanized steel sheets from China, South Korea, and Vietnam, with the specific rates as follows:

China's Tax Rate for Galvanized Steel Sheets (0%-26.80% CIF): 0-tax enterprises: Baoshan Iron and Steel, Beijing Shougang Cold Rolled Thin Plate, Fujian Kaijing New Technology Materials; Shougang Jingtang Steel: 7.72%; Other exporters: 26.80%.

South Korea (2.21%-31.47%). Vietnam (4.76%-57.90%).

On July 28, 2025, the Management Executive Committee of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Commission (GECEX) issued resolution 764 of 2025, making a positive final determination of anti-dumping on stainless steel welded pipes (in Portuguese: tubos de a ç o inoxid á vel austen í tico) originating in India and Taiwan, China, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for five years.

On July 16th, the website of the Canadian Department of Finance issued an announcement stating that starting from August 1st, Canada will expand the scope of application of import steel tariff quotas, tighten existing quotas, and impose additional taxes on imports beyond the quotas. In addition, a 25% additional tax will be imposed on products containing steel melted and cast in China that are imported from countries other than the United States.

On July 24, 2023, Brazilian Foreign Trade Commission imposed anti-dumping duties on seamless carbon steel pipes for a period of 5 years, at a rate of $743.00 per ton for China.

On September 9, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a statement stating that it had made a final positive ruling on the third countervailing sunset review of Circular Welded Carbon Quality Steel Pipe imported from China. The ruling stated that if the countervailing duty in this case is cancelled, it will result in subsidies for Chinese products involved in the case continuing or recurring at a rate of 29.83% -620.08%.

There is anti dumping tariff in Mexico against China seamless carbon steel pipe. However, Youfa seamless carbon pipes and galvanized seamless carbon steel pipes are hot sale in Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.

On September 11, 2024, according to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, the Revenue Department of the Indian Ministry of Finance issued Notice No. 04/2024 Custods (CVD) on September 10, accepting the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry's imposition of a 5-year countervailing duty on Welded Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes originating from or imported from China and Vietnam on June 15, 2024.

On August 15, 2023, the President of Mexico signed a decree that increases the Most Favored Nation (MFN) tariffs on various imported products, including steel, aluminum, bamboo products, and furniture. This decree applies to 392 tariff items and raises the import tariffs on almost all of these products to 25%, with certain textiles subject to a 15% tariff. The modified import tariff rates came into effect on August 16, 2023 and will end on July 31, 2025.
